    BRIEF LIST OF CUSTOM EXCEL-BASED APPLICATIONS SOLVING CUSTOMER SPECIFIC NEEDS

Significantly improved existing global cash forecasting models of multinational company by adding macros to import foreign exchange rates for 11 countries as well as perform calculations and aggregate results for roll-up entities in under 2 minutes

- Significantly improved structure of existing reports and automated processes for lending company producing efficiency gains of over 50% while also significantly reducing chances for errors

- Created Excel tool for large national insurance company enabling the viewing of information from multiple screens of their agent tracking system greatly improving analyst efficiency by more than 50%

- Developed Excel tool to assess cash position and calculate transfers needed between business entities and investment funds to maintain minimum required working capital while and maximizing investment income

- Created customized Excel-based application for company to track occurrence and resolution of nonconformance and CAPA events including documentation of steps taken to resolve said events.  Also incorporated security module to only allow edits for those logged in with the proper security level for each part of the form

- Enhanced data input spreadsheet for company conducting lab tests by incorporating dynamic validation lists to prevent input errors, macros to import a barcode scan file, and integration with sample data input

- Developed a program for chain of auto dealerships to import complete inventory and return a list of vehicles, by location meeting a given minimum profit threshold, customer trade-in scenario, and bank financing available

- Built series of spreadsheets for local CPA firm enable employees to track time spent on projects and allowing owner to properly bill and assess the financial performance of various clients, projects, and staff utilization

- Developed macro to reprocess 401(k) transactions and calculate amounts owed to participants due to previous recordkeeper's processing errors


- Built model to analyze the effect of ESOP plan changes on company ownership within a 10 year time horizon.  The model incorporated the random number generator in Excel along with hiring, retention, and mortality tables to project a range of expected outcomes.

- Created macro to compute the eligibility of over 3,000 pension plan participants with up to six potential hire, rehire, and termination dates. Due to the complexity, manual calculation for this volume of participants would have been extremely time consuming and open human error

- Created specialized cost analysis of proposed change in business process, including sensitivity analysis for a range of improvements expected as well as a template to track progression to goals

- Created complex pricing model for large request for proposal, incorporating input from several different departments with a number of sensitivity analyses within defined relevant ranges

- Created statewide budget template used by each business segment and region to input annual budget as well as a macro to aggregate and analyze various segment and region roll-ups

- Created the communication process, procedures, and Excel tracking tools needed to allow for the proper allocation of 10,000+ sports and entertainment tickets across a region encompassing seven markets. The tool also tracked all communications associated with requests for the tickets. A master tracking tool was also created and linked to each of the models to identify any error made and actions that needed to be taken.


- Developed system for tracking 800+ foreign invoices per year as well as associated item details such as: foreign exchange rate settlement, losses due to FX fluctuation, billed to client status, etc.

- Manipulated .rpt format file received from previous 401(k) vendor into upload ready file saving numerous hours of manual input; data integrity checks were also performed with several errors from previous vendor noted for follow-up

- Developed an automated reconciliation tool which cut reconciling time by more than 60% and created an electronic audit trail making research of items much easier
