• Significantly improved existing global cash forecasting models of multi-national company by adding macros to import foreign exchange rates for 16 countries as well as perform calculations and aggregate results for roll-up entities in under 2 minutes

Responsible for tracking and reporting on various aspects of work flow, data management, billing, and analysis for U.S. portion of Ernst & Young’s largest Human Capital tax client
• Developed new report for more detailed tracking of tax return work flow and verification that service thresholds are being met and simplified to allow for production by center in India in a fraction of the time previously needed
• Development of several Excel tools to simplify the complex task of preparing and reviewing monthly billing compiled using data from multiple systems
• Rebuilt firm-wide Excel tool used for budget to actual and forecasting analysis. Enhanced to work for the specialized reporting needs of client and simplified to allow weekly updating by the service center in India

Finance Department - Midwest Region Ticket Single Point of Contact (2007 - 2009)
Managed $1.5M sports and entertainment ticket investment by creating the proper foundation and structure to ensure best usage. This included coordination of catering, delivery of tickets, review of prepaid and expense accounts, and all accounting and reporting aspects of 10,000+ tickets used on an annual basis.
• Created process and procedures to allow proper allocation of client entertainment resources across Midwest Region which encompassed seven markets. The improvement enabled the firm to centralize this function reducing overhead expense for the business unit and maximizing value of the tickets used.
• Designed a model to track all ticket activity and associated communications which included a feature that provided real-time information on status of all tickets
• Developed an additional model to track and reconcile 800+ credit card transactions and related receipts on an annual basis. Also developed a detailed ledger to enable better cost analysis for all ticket and catering related charges
• Negotiated suite splits of games and special events with equity partners in Chicago

Finance Department - Financial Management Supervising Associate (Financial Analyst)
(2002 - 2007)
Responsible for billing, maintenance, and analysis of all aspects of tax engagement codes for clients with personnel international tax issues due to multi-national residency. Also conducted training for new managers and Finance personnel on the E&Y internal accounting system, Business Objects, and Excel skills.
• Developed comprehensive billing model which included specialized tools to create a more efficient and user friendly process saving many hours of billable time for client serving personnel
• Created detailed tracking system for 500+ international invoices annually which encompassed thousands of lines of detail. This provided proper control of charges and improved the process of detailing variances on financial system reports
